Old Home Day

Old Home Day, Saturday Sept. 18th 2021
Old
Home Day Delays:
Main St. from Woodbury Ave. to the roundabout
will be closed at approximately 8:30 AM until Old Home Day festivities end in
the early evening. The outbound lane of Main St. from the roundabout to Rt. 38
will be open to traffic during the road race. Both lanes of Main St. will be closed from the
roundabout to Woodbury Ave. once the race is complete.
Windham Rd. from the roundabout to Brookview
Dr. will be closed to traffic from
approximately 10:00 AM until 10:30 AM for the start
of the road race. Both lanes of Windham Rd. will be re-opened when the final
runners turn onto Brookview Dr. Windham Rd. will be closed again from
Brookview Dr. to the roundabout for the duration of Old Home Day after the race. Traffic will be detoured down Brookview Dr. to
Nashua Rd. during that time.
Nashua Rd. will be closed at the intersection
of Mammoth Rd. at approximately 9:30 AM until the road race is over. Nashua Rd. at the
roundabout will be open to outgoing traffic until approximately 10:15 AM. At that point Nashua Rd. will be closed for the
duration of the race. Nashua Rd. will be open in both directions for the
remainder of the day after the race is completed.
Parade
Road Closures:
Marsh Rd. will be closed to all traffic at
approximately 2:30 PM. The parade will begin at the Elementary School and will
travel to the center of town, around both roundabouts and onto Main St. The
entire area will be closed for the duration of the parade.
Detour signs will be set up to assist traffic
around the center of town. Travel though the center of town will be very slow. Please consider avoiding the
area if you are not attending the festivities.
Parking is available at
the Pelham Senior Center, Lyons Park, the Village Green, Pelham Elementary
School, Pelham Memorial School & Pelham High School. Handicapped parking
and assisted parking will be available on Meetinghouse Way after the race is
broken down and in Lyons Park.
Due to the later road race start time parking will be limited and traffic
backups are expected. Please plan accordingly.
